WHat is jambaloo?

Seven days of free live music, spread across DFW at FOUR independent, locally owned venues. We will highlight many of the best local artists DFW has to offer while also featuring a healthy dose of up-and-coming touring bands. We’re doing our best to make sure there’s a wide variety of genres and artists to fit any taste. Every week of the year these are ticketed shows… EXCEPT THIS WEEK. Welcome to the innaugural Jambaloo – a toe tapping, tail feather shaking all around good time – brought to you by your friends at Spune and the recently formed Mullen & Mullen Music Project. Oh, did we mention all the shows are absolutey FREE?

About Mullen & Mullen

Mullen & Mullen Law Firm was established Dallas in 1983 (across the street from Ferris Wheelers). They have invested heavily in radio advertising for several years and, as their business has grown, so have their investments into the local community. In addition to their support of the DFW Music Scene, Mullen & Mullen is a significant donor to several high profile/local charities, including Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital.

ABOUT KXT 91.7

KXT 91.7 is one of the member-supported, public broadcasting stations operated by KERA, a nonprofit organization that also includes KERA TV, KERA FM and Art&Seek. One of the few non-commercial radio stations in North Texas, KXT supports local artists and plays a unique mix of new, local and legendary music that listeners love. Since its launch in 2009, KXT has become one of the top-10 most-listened-to Triple-A (Adult, Album, Alternative) public radio stations in the country. The bulk of KXT’s programming lineup is produced and programmed locally, including weekday mornings with Benji McPhail, The KXT Local Show, What’s New with Jackson Wisdorf, Funky Friday with Lesley James, and The Paul Slavens Show.

PR CAMPAIGN

A National PR Firm has been engaged, year round for the primary purpose of promoting Jambaloo and getting the word out in every way possible.

RADIO

As part of the promotional strategy, we are committing $150k on targeted radio advertising. This significant investment aims to boost our reach and ensure that Jambaloo attracts a large audience.

EMAIL MARKETING

A dedicated email campaign will include teasers, announces, updates, video content and more to Spunes’ 190k subscriber list plus a series of dedicated emails from venues.

DIGITAL & ONLINE

A dedicated website has been built to promote the event:- jambaloo.live

Their will also be dedicated event pages on venue websites and home page features.

VIDEO

(Exculsive to shows at Tulips – Optional)

Shows will be recorded and streamed via a four camera system in venue.
Footage and audio can be provided to the artists post-show.
